T1M base

Well if it has all the features of a T1M, and is smaller (and I assume lighter) then I may have to sell my T1M rover to someone for a base, so I have a new rover!
I want to turn on Galileo this fall anyway, this may be the opportunity.

Is there a new ETA on the Triumph 3? Trying to make an intelligent decision about upgrading from the T2. Also, it sounded like there might be some sort of comparison of performance with L5 & Galileo and without. This would make the decision easier too. Thanks.

Do you run radio or cell more? Do you have an external radio? 4 watt 35 watt? I personally would get a LS as a base if I had an external radio. This would work great if running cell or 35 watt radio. All options are turned on and has a 24 hour battery. Then if you was to connect to a CORS you would have an extra rover. T1M would be the second choice. T3 would be third.

Isn’t/wasn’t there an issue using the LS as a base concerning it not correctly factoring in the base height? I thought I’d read or heard somewhere on here that whatever the input was it would 0.0’ or something like that. Not an issue for just locating corners or staking lines so much, but I’ve never attempted to use any of my LS’s as a base because of this. Maybe that’s been fixed?
