J-Field 3.0.1.387 still freezing up...

I have had my LS freeze on me half a dozen times in the past week. Everything is updated. Then, when I hold down the ON/OFF button to hard restart, it pops up the TURN OFF / REBOOT screen, but it also is unresponsive. This is annoying.

Anyone else experiencing this?

More details are needed. What communication channels (WiFi, GSM, UHF) are active and is there any specific action causes it to lock up or does it appear to be random?

I logged in here to post the same thing. My LS froze up twice on me today and has been doing it pretty much once a day since updating to 3.0.1.387. Before this it may have locked up only twice since I bought it a year ago and that was only in the office after sitting on my desk for too long while on. I have never had it freeze in the field before now. The second time it froze up today was here in the office just a few minutes after processing on DPOS.

Matt, It does appear to be random to me. It doesn't happen when I'm pushing buttons, but when it is sitting unused for a moment. I notice it after I lay the unit down face up for a short time to dig or something. As Shawn mentioned, I only have the HPT435BT.

Did not happen before this last update.

What else can I provide you? It's embarrassing when clients are with me. Thanks.

FWIW, since I updated to 3.0.1.387, I have done 2 projects, one with my 1 watt 901SS and the other using my local RTN.
I have not had as much as a hiccup.

I had it lockup once last week, I was running TCP Base / Rover setup, so it may not be radio related. At least for me its been a rare occasion that it locks up, since switching to Linux.

Mine has been locking up randomly and almost everyday, sometimes several times a day since the update. Yesterday locked up immediately after connecting to the base, shooting 1 control point, SHIFTING to that point and it then locked when doing a stakeout to a second control point to verify the SHIFT. Pushing the on off button , got the "Turn Off" button and when tapping it the unit just sat there , finally after holding the on off button for a long time it shut off. Turned back on and reconnected, re shifted, and it worked all day w/o any issues, temps near 20 F all day. Have not been able to detect what does it, just seems random. Using a T1 UHF 1 watt as a base.

My locked up again this morning after being idle about 10 minutes after starting the T1M while I was walking to the area I needed to do some stakeout in. I hold the on/off button till it shuts off, turn back on and it's OK. This is definitely since the update and did not happen before. It seems to be happening after being idle for more than 5-10 minutes. It does not lock up while in action mode collecting data.

Locked up again today right after connecting to the base and then SHIFTING to a control point, after about 5 of walking to where I was to collect points it was froze. Reminds me of the frequent lockups with the old Windows operating system and the camera function.

To everybody. Could you write your device serial number if you have some issues. It will help us a lot to find your receiver logs for investigation.

So, it’s starting again this morning. Fired up my T2 and radio on 35watts at 8:22. Went into a corner and didn’t need to take a shot. Came back to truck and black screen (screen saver) at 9:01. But it’s unresponsive. I do notice this time the light above the - button on the left is blinking RED-YELLOW-GREEN three times and then pausing on green for 6 seconds.
