Battery Light

The Battery Light on my T-2 (#727) flashes red when charging. In the past the light would turn solid red when I first connected it to the charger, then flash red until it was charged. When fully charged it would turn solid green. Now it turns to a flashing red, but never indicates that it is fully charged. (I have charged it for 60 hours.) I don’t believe it is a charger issue, I tried it with two chargers. When I disconnect from my charger and turn it on the battery light flashes green as if it is charged.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

How can I find out how much charge I have on my T-2?

Steve,
I wound up replacing my T-2 battery after a couple of years. I don't recall the symptoms that led to that however.

How long are you able to run off of a charge?
Adam,
This morning I took my unit off of the charger and turned it on. I am inside so all of the lights are red except for the battery light which is blinking green. It has been on in excess of eight hours. Does this answer your question? Should I run it until it dies?

Sounds like the battery is okay. I would probably keep running it if it were mine. @Eugene Aksyonov may have some opinion on the light behavior while charging.
I had it on for 14 hours yesterday. When I turned it off the light was green. This morning when I turned it on the batery light was red. I am charging it now. I will continue to comunicate. Looking for advice from the big boys.

The meanings of the LED's are given in the T2 Quick Start Guide:

9003

The LED should turn solid when connected to the charger.

I have now fully cycled my unit several times, and observed the following:

1 – I have never observed a yellow battery light either solid or blinking.

2—When charging, the light is solid red for some time, then changes to a blinking red. It never turns green.

3 – I take it off of the charger after 12 to 48 hours (light is still blinking red) and it will run for twelve hours before it dies.

It is not a charger issue. I have two units and two chargers.

Any advice?

Steve, I have had this happen as well. I continued to work with it for a while and it eventually had to be sent in for other wiring/power problems. Mine would just power itself down and then not turn back on. Then while driving down the road it would turn itself back on at random.

Thanks Matt. I have cleared the NVRAM. I will now try to charge, etc.
If this doesn't work; what is the cost (in time and money) to send it back to daddy?
Min charge is around $250. They don't know the cost until it's looked at. Couple weeks usually. You can call me tomorrow if it still isn't working properly.
