JCORS is the corrections broadcasting service. This will work without having to need to use a static ip at the base. Currently it doesn't work with the LS as a base. I haven't tried it out as I primarily use an LS base. It should work with the T2, T3, and T1M. I am not sure it is ready for users yet.

When will it work?

So if you go from pre release to the recommended are we losing the ability to use RTPK with an OAF? I updated and dont see the options.

yes, release is protected by Option. If you wan't to try it on release, please put upgrade order for this feature so we can temporarily open it. Or simply purchase, it :) and use.

What is jCORS?
There are number of services supposed to be implemented under this global name in relation to management of personal base and networks. The first of them is Corrections rebroadcasting from base. It configures any of our receiver like T1, T2, T3 as a base and starts it to transmit corrections to our server which rebroadcast it to multiple clients via ntrip protocol like ntrip casters do.
Mitchell, This feature is on the stage of deployment and testing by our focus group. The next J-Field release will have it integrated completely. There are some works required on UI integration with Base/Rover Setup screen. Please watch for the news about it.

So, after updating to the latest pre-release yesterday I no longer get a "stop base" when finished with my job. I read in another thread and Matthew told me this was likely to do with being able to now download the base without stopping the current survey.

Question is......How do I now "stop" the base when finished for the day?

"Stop Base" should be in the same place where it was. I didn't understand your question. Please clarify, may be attach a screenshot what do you see instead?

When I hit the stop base it starts the download yet never finishes. I just updated to latest prerelease (was on the previous Pre) so don't know if that still is a problem. I have to restart the LS and attempt to download the base again to get the file.

J-Field 3.0.8.426 release indicates RTPK was added. But it does not appear as an option. Is it too late to take advantage of the free August RTPK? Would I have to go back to the pre-release? Or is it possible for Javad to turn it back on until the end of the month with this release?

You can go to PreRelease or put an Upgrade order and get the option for trial period. Contact to Sales in case of trial upgrade.

This is connecting back to base after about 5 hours onsite.....the "start base" does not come up red as "stop base" now after yesterdays pre release update of .424. It also doesn't show me a counter of how long I've been on the site and the base has been running.....

This has randomly happened before, but with a quick disconnect and reconnect, it will populate the stop base option. I've disconnected and reconnected 3 or 4 times on every job since yesterday and have yet to see a stop base on any of the sessions.

I can get into manage base files by clicking on the top right record button and it appeared I could download the file that way. I didn't need this one downloaded so I didn't try that option.

I also just spoke with Matthew and he said "stop base" populated today but he was using UHF. I have been on TCP every time I've tried.

I saw the same thing with tcp. There was no red box with stop base after I connected to end my days work. Only start base
