Even today, engines with glonass do not fix. It is strange but it seems that more satellites less fixings, what will it be due to?

Matt,
Is it believed that this firmware fix will solve the general issue of non or slow fixing issues or was this related to Glonas fixing issues only?

GNSS firmware version 4.2 for the LS/LS+ should fix the cycle slip issue which causing the receiver to struggle to fix.

Matt,
Thank you for the info: my ls + applying software update from support (mod. realese) tells me that my unit is already updated, with GNSS 4.1.0.21312. IN JAVAD Customer Area I see that there is The LATEST-STABLE firmware release version is 4.1.03-210713 (July 14, 2021) do I have to update in any other way do I already have the latest stable version?

Until Version 4.2 release, is the best way to deal with the slow/difficult fix times still: 1. Turn off Glonas and Galileo, 2. Reboot base and rover?

Not sure if this is related, but Tuesday afternoon I was unable to get the engines to use anything but BeiDou satellites. Tried the usual suspects, auto setup engines, reset engines, checked that all constellations were on in the settings. Everything reduced fine, and the raw files have recorded data from GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo as well, so not sure why the engines were doing this.

How long did this last? Did you try rebooting the LS too?

Maybe 45 minutes after I noticed it. I was getting decent rtpk and was comfortable locating the last two points of the day so I didn't bother restarting. I was a long way from the base and didn't want to risk it not picking the radio back up.

I have u1 and u2 set up to reset rtk, and reset tracking respectively.
Reset tracking definitely helps to build variety counter.
