    shooting a corner with tilt

Horizontal shift would be 115mm x Sin(tilt). And also we have to take into account azimuth to project that shift on north and east. Also we have to take into account local angle correction between magnetic and grid north.

Hi Giulio, You are right. All RTK-related calculations are done in Geocentric coordinates. So we use all power of Pythagorean theorem:) Antenna-related calculations are done in Topocentric coordinate system, that is rotated against Geocentric. But it is also Cartesian, so Pythagorean theorem is...

    DPOS report

Gentlemen, I would like to add DPOS reports inside regular PDF report as well.

    Report Variability

Dear Mark, What kind of variability you want. We already have HRMS and VRMS reported. We could add Interquartile Range IQR or other statistics. Please let us know what quantities could be useful.

    localize report

It is great idea! I will do that ASAP. It will be in PDF format as usual report. Could you send me examples of good reports please.

    Correct Elevations

Dear Aaron, Sorry, I'm on vacation now. I will fix the issue next week. Best Regards, Vladimir

How to use average points, when you get 2 that are too close?

I think we have return that feature back. I agree that it is convenient to see distance to last point for wrong-fix jump detection and to smart average position with outlier eliminating. The only thing we worry is accessibility and visibility of that clustering feature. Could you suggest please...

    Localization Issue? or Page Issue

Dear John, I would like to suggest following solution: 1. If underlying coordinate system is geodetic, we keep behavior of program as is. It is due to impossibility to know where is center of constructed local system. 2. If underlying coordinate system is grid, program will consider...

    Localization Issue? or Page Issue

Sorry for inconvenience. We have to have one pair to make localization linked to some geographic area. It is important due to some digital models are working in particular geographic area (e.g. geoids). So if we will allow using undefined localization system as defined we will have calculation...

    variance covariance matrix

Dear Giulio, We will output both matrices. They are linked through rotation. Units are different. For topocentric matrix we are using user-defined squared length units. For geocentric covariance matrix we are using SI squared meters due to it is related to global system. In my opinion the 2D or...

    variance covariance matrix

Thank you Giulio! I added topocentric covariance matrix as most informative. What you think is better to do: replacing it with geocentric or output both topocentric and geocentric? I think all PLSs will say their opinions too.

    variance covariance matrix

Thank you Giulio. We will add matrix too in topocentric coordinates. Unfortunately sometimes easting and northing are denoted as X and Y. So it is not clear from image it is topocentric or geocentric. But Z error is bigger, so I suppose it is topocentric.

    variance covariance matrix

Dear Glen, We are providing relative accuracy according Section 3.E.i. It says about how to compute relative accuracy: 'it can also be computed using “the full covariance matrix of the coordinate inverse between any given pair of points.”' It is not about how to represent it. It is represented...
