Good news

I used the drop down set found par and typed the rest in. No % beginning or end. Then reset. Used the drop down print found par typed the rest of the second command. No % beginning or end. Then it worked.

The print command can be used to check what the center frequency setting.
Matt, thank you for the help, but my attempt was a fail, I think. Prior to the attempt to change the center frequency to 1571, what was the center frequency for just GPS and Glonass. I am trying to get back to where I was before this adventure.

Matt:
I am unable to replicate your provided NetView screen? At Parameters/Positioning I enter %set,/par/|1center/frq,1571% and then click the green apply check symbol, it saves, then enter %print,/par/|1center/curfrq% and it returns %print,/par/|1center/curfrq% ok, but does not show the 1571? If I reboot I get the same scenario. I see the additional constellations of GAL and BDS remain checked after the reboot, but it appears I may not have changed the center frq. What am I missing?

It needs to be

print,/par/l1center/frq

not

%print,/par/|1center/curfrq%

Thank you!

Steve,
You were using a pipe character instead of a lower case L in the 'l1center' part of the comand. It should be set,/par/l1center/frq,1571
(no '%' characters required).
Don't forget to make sure the other check boxes for BDS & Galieo are checked in Netview too.

Try copy/paste to be sure.
I tried it and it worked a treat. I started getting RTK fix solutions in a spot in my garden where I've never been able to get them before.

Sven,
Thank you for the help, this is "good news" for sure. I will try again this weekend. By the way, after you were able to configure the T2, did you have any issues configuring the "Receive Format" on the LS? Mine did not present the recommended RTCM 3 MSM3 Short selection? I may have missed a step or sequence! Again, thank you for the help, it is genuinely appreciated!

Yes, it should be either

%print,/par/l1center/curfrq%

or

print,/par/l1center/curfrq

Matt, my 'Lock Systems', 'Lock Signals' and 'Position Signals' check-boxes are greyed out and empty. I always thought this was normal. I mostly use a Greis script from another app to initialize the T2 every time its used so it works fine but I am curious.
The 1571 freq change seems to work well - thanks for the tip!

Sad to say I only have the T2 which I use as a rover with Cors corrections. Sorry I can't help there

Steve, you shouldn't have to set the receive format. Set it in base/rover setup for base transmission. Left hand window pane, then format at top left, then send to base.

Duane,
Thank you for the help, another piece of the puzzle! I am going to try again this morning with this insight. Were you successful in the migration of the T2 with the additional constellations? If so, have you tested the performance, and what are your thoughts? Knowledge is such a powerful thing, thank you for sharing!!

I haven't tried it yet. I got reading about the signals and seems like need 5 sats but then need 8 if you throw Beidou into the mix. E1 has timing info in the message so can use that without needing the 8. This could be old info and no longer true, but was thinking of trying just adding E1 and not Beidou1. In my area much easier to have 5 common sats base/rover than 8 due to hills/canopy. That shouldn't be a problem with T3/LS+ because then you're getting all the signals and much better chance of 8 common. Someone gonna step in and tell me this is all wrong though. It's okay, I can take it, just trying to figure it out.

Interesting, I would like to hear someone with JAVAD weigh in on this thought. I would guess, if one did not use Beidou, maybe it would not be necessary to change the center frequency to 1571, just hold the default of 1575? Thanks again, I hope we get some input from the knowledge base.

Changing the center frequency is only necessary to track BeiDou. This will be hardcoded in Base/Rover setup soon so the user does not need to change it if they want to use BeiDou.
