Setting T3 Base using a mifi Hotspot

I have been having a lot of trouble with my HPT435BT radio lately. Seems like the range has reduced, maybe going through trees is limiting my range. I am thinking about trying to use a mifi hot spot at my T3 base and using my cell phone hot spot at the LS rover. I can't seem to find any information of how to do this or what is required. Do I need a fixed IP on the MIfi? If there is some information on please let know where to look.
Thanks, Ron

Ron, you will need a hot spot with an ipv4 static ip address for the base. The rover can use a dynamic ip, static ip (as long as there is seperation), your phone hotspot or jetpack or internal cell modem if it has it. Javad has static Verizon Ip sim cards for $500 per year or you can get them thru Verizon. When you get the device and / or card give me a call. I can help set it up after that.

Canopy will reduce range to some extent.

And JCORS will be an option at some point.
