I updated to the 4.0 pre release and then went back and forth a few times  to the release and now the SD card isnt being recognized. Ive purchased new SD card and still cant get it to work. Ive also factory image from boot and the clean. When I purchased new card it read it as soon as inserted but as soon as I used the arrow up it disappeared. I thought that when I had arrow up the sd card was in the internal memory but that might have been me just seeing things. I had to send the unit back the 1st week I purchased it because the SD card was not reading which I hope is not the case again. Serial number 00404 on JAVADGNSS RAMS server.:(

Ls and T2. I need to update the radio firmware before updating to 4.0? Is that correct? I presume this refers to external UHF radio? Or LS's UHF radio firmware or both?

J-Field 4.0 will be moved to PreRelease soon. This version has some significant changes that you must understand before attempting to use it. The J-Field 4.0 Migration Guide is now available for you to read.
In the field LS connected to T2. Set up on point and the epochs continue. Any idea why it starts but does not stop?

Could this be an OAF issue?

Finished rtpk trial that ended on 4 July. The Sat image on Home Screen blinks and alerts.

I updated and behavior continues.

IN THE FIELD NOW ready to pull what’s left if my hair out.

Can anyone help?

How do you change the radio protocol on the base from the LS+? On the previous version there was an option to configure the base based on the rover settings and another to configure the rover based on the base settings. I can change to the protocol on the rover, but I do not see a way to change it on the base. The default is "Javad". Sometimes I need run two rovers off the T-3 base, but the second rover is a topcon hiper vr.

I can start the T-3 using JMT and setup the desired protocol and modulation, just cant seem to do it from the LS.

Now that I have had the opportunity to use J-Field 4.0 for a few days, I will repeat my comment that this version has some really nice features. The organization is more intuitive and in general it is a big step in the right direction. The ability to switch between receiving corrections via UHF and via cell modem saved me a lot of time and miles the last few days. At one point, I even switched correction streams while collecting a point. Worked flawlessly. Thanks for making it happen.
I have a few questions and requests.

Are the white button settings stored in the UI Profile?

Can you please bring the Localization button back to the first home screen? It could replace the TLS2TLS button, which could move to Home Page 2 and bump Data Exchange off. I use Localization all the time. I put each deed or prior survey on a separate page with its own local coordinate system. Then I add each collected point to the localization to reduce the size of my search zones and at the same time get a feel for how well the points I'm collecting match the record. It's one of my favorite things about J-Field but it requires a lot of clicks. I wish the whole process would be streamlined to require fewer clicks, and putting Localization back on the Home screen would require two fewer. Could Localize be assignable to a hardware button?

I like the new Map button and screen. It needs a "Center on Current Position" button, and even better, a "Stake selected point" button that changes to "stake selected line" when a line is selected. Come to think of it, the map on the Collect screen needs that functionality too.

Finally and most importantly, I strongly prefer the Codes list in the old grid form rather than the new list form. I often used the Select Code from List> button as a second page of favorite codes. Between code profiles and selecting a category of codes to shown on the list, I could set it up so that no matter which kind of points I was collecting I could find the code I needed with a click or two. The funnel button is there, but it takes more clicks, it doesn't show which category is selected (just a red funnel), and 25 big buttons per page is way nicer in the field than 10 tiny buttons. Perhaps grid view or list view of codes could be a setting similar to how Windows can show files as large icons or details.

Added an option (list by default) to use the old Codes screen.

Also added Category info to the title of the new Codes screen.

Yes.

Could Localize be assignable to a hardware button?
We will add the possibility.

I like the new Map button and screen. It needs a "Center on Current Position" button
The map screen has 5 customizable buttons on the right side. We will add the "Center on Current Position" to the list of custom commands.

I like the new Map button and screen. It needs a "Stake selected point" button that changes to "stake selected line" when a line is selected. Come to think of it, the map on the Collect screen needs that functionality too.
We will think about it. Redesign of Collect / Stake and other map screens is in our plans for future releases.

Could Localize be assignable to a hardware button?
Done (Setups: margins, signals, coordinate systems, antenna height / Localization).
I like the new Map button and screen. It needs a "Center on Current Position" button...
Done (optionality by long click on the Back button or one of the customizable buttons).
