Error! Connection Failed: Operation not supported - When connecting to T3

I am updating the software on my T3. The firmware did fine, but after I updated the modem using Generic format, I cannot connect to my T3. It gives the "Error! Connection Failed: Operation not supported" on the screen. HELP! Neither of my LS+'s will connect. Is there a reset? Can I use a cable?

I've run into an issue multiple times with the cell modem not working after the firmware update. I can't explain it but I do know that multiple power on/offs will fix the issue.

Ok. To clarify, you turn it off and on multiple times until your LS will connect? The Bluetooth light is off on mine and hasn’t changed. Thanks.

I cannot get the bluetooth light to come on. The LS cannot find it. I've tried long pressing. Short pressing. Restarting. Holding the power down for a long time. I'm dead in the water.

So, after much time messing with the T3, I'm seeing that it will not connect in any way to anything. No lights are on the front panel except the power and the last three. Bluetooth went bye bye and doesn't show in any list when the LS searches. The micro USB port will cause my laptop to ding, but it will not connect to NetView. All the T3 does is show yellow satellites light and the last two lights blink together intermittently.

All because I updated the firmware to the cellular modem? I can't use it or connect to it. The downtime is stressful and surely to goodness Javad won't require me to pay for this repair if it's needed. This is out of my control.

Rough...seems like the responses have slowed...you may have to call one of the guys for support....not for nothing
, but the lights on the t3 are also buttons that can be toggled on and off...

Yeah. I've been in contact. Looks like it's gonna have to go into the shop... eek. They were no able to connect to it remotely.

I've had the unit nearly since they came out. I'm pretty familiar with it and tried all the buttons multiple times. There is no communications for some reason. I've had the BT antenna on the wrong port before and had the BT turned off before and just about every other simple created problem with it... haha.

In this case, I had just updated the firmware and I was able to connect right up again to update the cellular firmware. It updated and wham... unable to connect in any way. I appreciate your insight.

Geez. The same thing just happened to me. I updated the modem using the generic option. I can no longer connect to the T3 using my LS+. The satellite button is solid orange and the position and record button are blinking every three seconds. I've powered off and on 4-5 times.
I'd be interested to hear any resolution. The learning curve on this has been STEEP, no manuals. Lots of downtime. Heaven help a field crew if they had to use this.
My number is 707-392-6789. I left my LS+ on RAMS. S/N 0694. :/
Thanks, Greg St John

Try a hard reset on LS..hold power button and it will ask I think...clear nram on t3 by connecting to ls..you will need to resend your settings from base to to radio after doing so...

If you connect to T3 and the text on the left side is red...you need to send setting to base and they should turn green again...I still have not moved to newest platform so my ls may no longer resemble yours

With help, I was able to return the T3 back to its factory state. See link above. After downloading the usb drivers for javad devices, I used Nav View & Modem to connect the T3 to my PC. Updates for Radio and Modem firmware went much smoother after that. Thanks, Matt Johnson.
