Triumph-LS Touch Screen

My Triumph-LS as developed some touchscreen issues over the last few days. It works fine for a while and then will either not respond to presses to the touch screen, or, it will randomly open new screens on its own. Restarting the LS seems to clear up the issue. Any ideas?

Disable screen, or turn LS off.
Spray window cleaner onto screen.
Gently clean screen, and especially up to the edges, cleaning the rubber glue, and hardware buttons. Take 5 mins. Do a thorough job. Do this every week of hard use. Use paper towels.
Turn it on, and (as mentioned above) hold the AV button down to re calibrate the touch screen.
Little bits of foreign matter get around the sides of the screen. A good clean screen has fixed this every time so far.

I used to have this problem. Canned air will clean the debris from the gap around edges.
Clean the screen the same way you would a computer screen with a soft cloth nothing that scratches.

Thanks for the info on cleaning the screen. Nice to know I'm not the only one that's experienced the problem. It's done much better since I re-calibrated it, but I'll blow it off and give it a good wipe down.

So glad I saw this. I was about to send it back for evaluation. Its like someone is controlling my unit, always at the end of the day, lost productivity, for sure.
Is it better to always use the stylus and never your finger? Do oils from the fingers affect the screen?
Does anyone use a screen protector of some kind? Thx.
