Mine has't worked for a long time, wish it did, it was very useful. I could let the LS run on a corner and sit on a stump nearby using the cogo routines while it collected fixes. Also did a lot of woods road locations as Nate described.

Same experience with mine several times, keep the old T1M in the truck as a backup when the "new" T1M+ is dead after only being used 2 hrs the previous day. The old T1M can be in the truck for a couple weeks not used and then turn on and run fine.

Any advantage to use this release version instead of the previous prerelease version, (of the same number) I have needed to use for the last year with my LS+ and T1MP base? Have had issues with visual stakeout and auto reset engines not seeming to function.

UHF, always. Mostly on wooded boundary surveys in mountains, The issue is with the LS+on prerelease and the T1m+base. Only way to get the T1m+ to work is if the LS+ is on prerelease. My old T1M with the LS+ on Release works very reliably with no issues.

Will the LS+ ever be able to use the T1M+ as a uhf base without crashing? See my previous post a few days, ago or is the T1M+ just a boat anchor? Unfortunately I feel like Josh and Darren.

Says it connects but continues to flash disconnected and connected every second the JERCI screen never displays my LS screen just the "photo template" of an LS with the display screen portion just a red X. Will try to manually connect when the unit is available.

Ditto, new T1M+, had to migrate to pre-release on the LS+ to get it to work. Problems with Video Guide and the engine settings could never get it to work as it is Supposed To. Finally migrated back to Release on the LS+ and using the old T1m as a uhf base, works as before. ?? Please give...
