    Hookup to PC

The T2 is very sensitive to the USB cable used as Matt suggests.

LS Verizon MIFI device and Smartnet RTN not working

As I understand it, their service is nation-wide coverage. If I worked outside of the State, I would be very interested at that price. For me, SmartNet has been pretty good and the price is still a little lower (for Statewide service) compared to Carlson's nationwide service.

LS Verizon MIFI device and Smartnet RTN not working

I use the State-wide connection to SmartNet at a cost of $1,300 per year.

LS Verizon MIFI device and Smartnet RTN not working

Yes. I was using the IP address previously. Changing to the Domain name successfully connected. Thanks again.

LS Verizon MIFI device and Smartnet RTN not working

That worked for me too. Thanks Matt. PS I would recommend deleting the screen capture with Jahalnon's account and password.

LS Verizon MIFI device and Smartnet RTN not working

I was not able to connect to Smartnet on Friday either. I was using the internal cellular modem. I had internet access, just couldn't connect. I suspect it was another IT issue.

Same point shot on different days shows a 6' shift

I've dealt with a few kidney stones over the years, my friend. I'll be praying for you. I stopped drinking cokes a few years ago and haven't had any since. I've been told that lemon juice helps dissolve them, so I put a little squeeze of lemon in my water when it's available. Hope you feel some...

Same point shot on different days shows a 6' shift

Perhaps you should provide the archive of the project here and someone can dig into it a bit deeper.

Same point shot on different days shows a 6' shift

The reports are helpful, but don't really tell me the whole story. The screen captures for each base station session would help. And that may be in the report, but I can't tell from the report which points belong to which base point. Second, I would want to see the coordinate list. Are some...

Same point shot on different days shows a 6' shift

    It appears there are at least three different base coordinates I notice in the points report. For example, points 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 use base coordinates: N 2137970.1918, E 5990072.5068, U 20.9381. Points 1.4, 1.5, and 1.6 use base coordinates: N 2137968.0312, E 5990078.3999, U 22.6389. Point 2.1...

Same point shot on different days shows a 6' shift

The base coordinate is different in the report on 1.4 vs the report on 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3.

Nate's Wish List, for the direction for the Javad Co.

You make a good point, Jason. The other part is that the antennas are robust, which on the surface seems like a good thing, but if the unit falls and lands on the antenna, the shock will go through the robust antenna and pass right on to the connector, which, like you say, is likely to require a...

Nate's Wish List, for the direction for the Javad Co.

I just got them in. They are probably 19cm long. It sticks above the top of the receiver by about an inch. I just put one on my LS Plus. I put my OEM antenna on first and noted the signal strength at my desk was -80dbm. I then put the new 10db antenna, rebooting the cellular modem, and noted the...

Nate's Wish List, for the direction for the Javad Co.

Nate, Happy New Year. It's good to see you post. I cannot comment on most of your items, but I have to say that I am pleased with my cellular based corrections. In places with poor cellular signals, I do have issues from time to time, but in most of my work areas, I have really good connection...

T3 - Base has moved notification

This is from an old discussion thread, but might be relevant to your issue. From Shawn Billings: Regarding the warning message, I've found that the Anti Theft Guard is the least reliable monitor we have. I use the base guard feature, I just turn off the anti-theft guard. The other three...

J-Field not using it's own DPOS report position? Take a look.

This is incorrect. RT vs BP refers to the solution type from base to rover: RT being the RTK solution from the base or BP being the post processed solution from the base. The third column shows the solution type for the base: AU being autonomous, CP being CORS, KN being Known, and RN being a...

J-Field not using it's own DPOS report position? Take a look.

There is nothing wrong with your coordinates, only with your conversion using 3.280839895. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think Oklahoma uses the US Survey Foot, right? If so, you are using the International Foot conversion which will give you about 5' of difference with those coordinate...

J-Field not using it's own DPOS report position? Take a look.

To quickly get to the meters to feet conversions: International Feet: 1 inch = 2.54 cm (exact) from this we can get our feet>meter and meter>feet conversions 1 foot = 12 x 2.54cm = 30.48 cm (exact) 1 meter = 1 / (0.3048) feet (exact) Survey Foot 1 meter = 39.37 inches (exact) from this we can...

J-Field not using it's own DPOS report position? Take a look.

3.280839895 is the conversion for meters to International Feet. It seems to me that the conversion being used is for the US Survey Foot which is 3.2808333.... The difference between US Survey Feet and International Feet is 2ppm, which would be about a foot in Northing (for 500,000) and about 5...

How to speed up my LS....

Nate, I'm terrible at file management on the LS. I typically remove old projects when I see performance starting to slip. Having said that, you might consider archiving those projects you want to keep handy and putting them on a USB thumb drive that you keep in the truck. Then if you need one of...
