    Problems with antenna towers

Were you looking at UHF scan or spectrum scan? You need to look at the spectrum scan.

    UHF

If your radio is broadcasting then it is the Interference you are seeing. The scan looks for activity on the selected frequencies. Your base is active. Close to the base the RF will bleed over to adjacent bands. As was said if you were floating then you were getting corrections. Is the base...

    Covid-19 Quarantine for Surveyors?

Local order here in East Texas referred to real estate services as essential, specifically including surveying. I work alone also and feel being outside is as healthy or more so than being inside.

    TLS2TLS

Those of you who have updated recently have no doubt noticed a new feature on the Triumph-LS home screen "TLS2TLS". This button allows you to send messages and data from one Triumph-LS to another or from a Triumph-LS to support. I've used the feature to send projects to support along with...

Where did field cluster average go?

I spoke with Nate about a workaround. If you go to Points, select the point (which if it's the last one collected it should be the last one in the list). Press the light blue field on the right side of point list (point details). Then press the up arrow hardware button. It will display all of...

    Problems with antenna towers

I'm not familiar with that. Are you sure that's a viable solution?

    New GNSS Status Screen

Conventional tracking. The current selection will be the name that appears on the engine screen. I don't think there are any help articles at the moment. As I mentioned earlier, in the 2 Engine GPS+GLO+GAL+BDU the automatic setting is for engine 2 to use GLO+GAL+BDU. If your correction doesn't...

    Problems with antenna towers

Run an interference scan at the site. This is a hallmark of the Triumph LS. See the hardware button on the top row.

    LS Vector Data in Star-Net

That's a user selectable option as I recall.

    LS Vector Data in Star-Net

Negative Ghostrider. This is exactly as it should work. The combined point is a surveyed point because it is based on survey data. J-Field has already done what you are doing in Star*Net (although differently), so you are correct that you should not include it in the Star*Net adjustment with...

Triumph-LS as base with external radio

I'm sure many are considering options for obtaining a base receiver that will track GPS+Glonass+Galileo+Beidou. As things are situated on March 19, 2020, for most customers, I recommend the Triumph-3 as a base because it has the new Triumph-3 chip which will track. The chip in the Triumph-LS...

Use of the Record Button on the T-2?

"Attach GNSS file" is for attaching the raw data file for the base to the base point, not for attaching additional files to a base point that already has a raw data file. You can send the raw data file to DPOS through your computer or using Javad Mobile Tools, then put that coordinate in J-Field.

Use of the Record Button on the T-2?

The record light on the Triumph-2 will flash on the recording interval. You cannot send a file to DPOS from the Triumph-LS without an associated base file. The Triumph-LS will not allow you to assign a point to this raw data file (to my knowledge).

Use of the Record Button on the T-2?

Go to browse files. Press and hold the up arrow at the top center of the screen to get to the system root. The file could be in one of two places: SD Card> jdata> maps> [project name]> raw data or Internal Memory> jdata> maps> [project name]> raw data It depends on whether the current action...

    Testing Triumph-LS GPS+GLO+GAL+BDU in Canopy

Follow up. DPOS results were good on 7 of 14 points. This is pretty close to the percentage of good DPOS solutions with multi-constellation.

    Testing Triumph-LS GPS+GLO+GAL+BDU in Canopy

Today, I set up the Triumph-3 and Triumph-LS in the same location, this time transmitting only GPS and Glonass corrections, using the standard V6 GPS+GLO engines. The test ran for 6 hours. In that time I collected 14 points, for an average of 26 minutes per point. Using the same profile with...

    Triumph-LS Training Event - Kilgore, Texas - April 2nd-3rd, 2020

That's a great idea, Steve. Really great. I think the training we do now works best in a group setting, but the advanced training you and Aaron are talking about could probably be done well in a web meeting format. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Triumph-LS Training Event - Kilgore, Texas - April 2nd-3rd, 2020

Steve, I'm glad you chimed in. I said it is the same training, but I do plan to incorporate as many of your suggestions as I can. I really like the recommendation to discuss calibrations, for example. I think that will be important. And we do try to leave enough margin in the schedule to...

    Triumph-LS Training Event - Kilgore, Texas - April 2nd-3rd, 2020

I say it's the same. I'm sure we'll be looking at verification with GPS+GLO vs. GPS+GLO+GAL+BDU and perhaps a mention of GPS+GLO+GLO once we understand the differences a bit better.
