Or, turn on a radio, as repeater.

    Using an LS as base

Does it allow the weighted average, between the shots, taken via different rovers? I can see simply adding a letter designator to the point names. Rover 1 is direct point numbers. Rover 2 is n1..n750, and so forth. @Matthew D. Sibole , so this is how you get multiple LS's, to post process off...

    Using an LS as base

Does it DPOS the same way as with a T-2? Does the base in one LS, transfer to the rover LS's?

    No fixed solution

No, and compensation is off. Just need coord at the LS. Not pole tip.

    No fixed solution

I set mine to 35 degrees. Lean it out, over creek edges, flow lines, roof corners, etc.

    Adam, what's that apc?

    Using an LS as base

As Galileo, and Biedou get closer to being available, I consider that there are 3 options to be available for a new base. Right now, we can use T-1M. Or the LS. And, in the future, the T-3. I can see an advantage of getting another LS, with internal radio. 1 watt. (Broadcasting) If the new...

    2 LS's 1 Surveyor

Merge projects? Already done? Whoa! What's it do with point number conflicts? I can see alpha-numeric point names fully solving this. This could allow lots of things. Hmmmm. I wonder. I wonder. Nate

    Concerns about Galileo and Beidou

@Darren Clemens that's really an understatement! Mr Javad used to work for Charlie Trimble. He's one of the founding fathers of Gps for Land Surveyors. N

    Concerns about Galileo and Beidou

Javad maybe got all excited over the new J-mate, and got focused over there.... I feel a bit like a guy in the soup line, banging on his tin cup! :)

    2 LS's 1 Surveyor

You could topo anything that way. Full 180 second verified shots on everything. You are on to something. I'm very impressed. N

    2 LS's 1 Surveyor

Adam, I wish I'd of thought of that! How did you keep track of point names/numbers? I think it'd be double awesome to have some sort of master software, that ALLOWS this, and combines data, from 2 LS's, performing average between the 2 LS's, (multiple LS's) and such. I'm impressed. What about a...

    J-Tip treasures

Yes.... If ya haven't lost the charge wire! (I just bought 2, so one stays in office, and one in field!) Buy an extra.

    Background Map File Size Limit?

Maybe ability to hook to internet, and it installs all quads within 100 mi radius. That'd be cool!
  16. Nate The Surveyor

    Background Map File Size Limit?

We should get a whole state of quad sheets, pre installed, in the LS. Pay a couple hunnerd bucks more

I get the same error. But, I assumed it was the memory stick. (Win 7). No matter. Everything still works fine. Windows is not "God". :) N

J-field Rotate and Translate is archaic

What Shawn said, but groupings, would be wonderful. I.e., go to field, with 10 different deeds/old surveys. Name each deed/survey group. Grab each deed group, rotate, translate, (align), and use for searches. The faster/simpler, the better. It's mainly to search, but can be used to for all kinds...
