When I was using my T2 base, I could set the UHF radio up about 20' from the base, as was suggested to me. Now with the 1M, the radio needs to be about 4 feet away, or I get tons of random errors and what I assume are time-outs. Then, when starting or stopping the base, the LS needs to be no further than 2 feet from the 1M at all times, or it'll drop the link and I'm stuck rebooting everything. Is the 1M Bluetooth range really that short?
Here's the worst part though - Sometimes when I got to shut down the base, I connect to the 1M and in the upper-right corner of the LS screen it shows data logging and the timer ticking (as I would expect), but the button next to that says "Start Base" and not "Stop Base". It gives me no option to stop and download. So I end up just powering down and losing all that base data for DPOS. I can recover DPOS session, but I shouldn't have to so often (because it re-imports all the other sessions and creates duplicates of everything I already processed). This happens seemingly at random, maybe 1 out of 4 times. I don't know if this is Bluetooth related or not.
