Already DPOS point as base in grid to ground page

I have a point from another project that I want to use as a base for a new project. The point has already been DPOS in that project. I just exported it and imported it into the new project. When I exported it I did it as a grid to ground point. We always create a grid to ground page and work out of that from then on. I imported the point into page 0 in SPC. Normally I duplicate the SPC and adjust this with grid to ground for a new coordinate system called Ground. for a new page called Ground and that is the page we work out of. My question is does this way of doing it change the coordinates of the imported DPOS point? If it doesn't do I just create a new duplicate coordinate system grid to ground as before and continue as always and carry on. Now that I have confused everybody any thoughts. Mike

Import the 'corrected base LLH or Grid ENU position' as a 'control point' into the new project (using the same Coordinate System).
I would not recommend to import as a 'ground control point' as Grid-to-Ground' LDP as 'ground' can change with change of 'grid' location.
