I use a small bracket to attach a waterproof phone case onto my pole.

After a long day in the rain with many stakeout points, I can say that the light green color is not the best solution for any kind of eyes. No problem when the text color is black, just when become light green, in the proximity of the point. Maybe some kind of a solid green color for the text indicated by the arrow.

Thanks.
Thank you, Sorin, I will try to make the color darker as you suggested to.

Yuri, meanwhile, I have started to use J-Mobile/"Dark Theme" when staking and large text from Android settings. From my point of view it's ok now, with Dark Theme.

Thank you very much for the answer.

At that time, I tried on myself some wearable arm configuration, inspired from that old Motorola WM device which in the meantime, also migrated to Android (voice command included).

(from min 2:25)

I still believe in a robust wearable arm configuration with the new CAT S30 offered by Javad. Some jobs really require voice command capabilities for "points picking", while a wearable wrist mount will reduce the total weight of the monopod. Applicable to T1M, T2, etc.

Some real good multi-tools just started to show up:

https://lasers.leica-geosystems.com/global/blk3d
mostly dedicated to indoor, but can perform some TS functions outdoor; two calibrated cameras, laser, IMU, Snapdragon 820 processor, probably Android (don't know if third-party software are supported), but wonder why not any GNSS chip inside or/and external antenna connector.

200m laser ±0.04 in, Android, third-party software are now supported (nice if J-Mobile could be among them), 360 degree inclinometers, measure on picture, camera targeting, one single 5MP photo camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, no SIM, no GNSS inside when photo stamp needed, etc.

Dual-SIM, Android 8, 8000mAh, IP68/MIL-STD810G, works in direct sunlight with J-Mobile, 6 inch screen, u-blox M8N inside, internal GNSS antenna GPS/GLONASS/BEIDOU, but also connector for external GNSS antenna (better device with inside u-blox F9 high precision GNSS module, in the near future).

With third party photo-capture software, 13MP camera and a good Disto, it helps a lot in the field with inaccessible points. Some good ideas here for Victor LS..
