app working with ios 8.02?

Also any tricks for getting connected to the ios app? I went through the settings both in the tabs of netview and then using the recommended gries commands.

I can get the wifi light to turn on the receiver, and I can find the adhoc network and connect to it with my iPhone. But the first screen shows
“Wrong IP address or network port! Checking logging…”

I’ve tried changing the ip address and the port in the ap to match the ip address listed in the instructions and also changed the ip address in the receiver to match what is defaulted in the app. Nothing seems to work.

Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Thanks. I’m running IOS 8.02 have you tested on that yet?

I can still connect with iOS 8.02. The login is just left blank. The IP address should be set to 192.168.0.1

Dear Jason,
today version 1.3 has been released. It is tested with iOS 8. But there is no different in connection with iOS7 and iOS8.

Yuri,
I just updated JMT and firmware in Triumph2 and was able to connect via WiFi with my Android, Samsung Galaxy SIII. Really cool. Thank you.

Hey, Shawn, we are talking about Apple iOS8! Let's don't mix God and Devil, Apple and Samsung! But I'm happy that you are able to connect with T2.
Sorry. I was very excited at my first WiFi connection. If you like Steve Jobs (or the ghost of Steve Jobs) telling you what you can do with your phone I won't argue. :)

I'm following these instructions to the letter. Using the same ip address, port and gateway as specified in instructions I can connect to the network under the ios settings, but in the app it says

"wrong IP address or network port! checking logging..."

why would i be getting this message?

I was unable to connect today as well. After trying many things I have found the problem seems to be using "apple" for the password. I have no explanation for this but I can't connect with "apple" as the password. Anything else seems to work. So try changing your password in New View if you are using "apple".

what are you using for a password? I changed it off of "apple" in netview and in the app and it still doesn't work for me.

I tried "Apple" and many other things which all work. Is your OAF up to date? I have Firmware: 3.6.0b3 May,21,2014

Hmm. I have 3.6.0 from June 23, 2014 so thats probably not it. OAF up to date.

Is there a way to hard reset the receiver? I've changed so many things so many times, it is probably better to start fresh at this point. Reset/Clear NVRAM doesn't eliminate all of the networking changes i've made.

I'm not sure about doing a complete reset of everything. Do you have the latest version of the app? Version 1.3

There is a Reset option here:
