Average this shot with last shot feature

Is there a way to add a average this shot with the last shot feature?

I find one of the biggest sources of error to be the prism pole bubble. No matter how carefully I center it each morning, after fighting through the brush, slipping on the rocks, running from the hornets and swatting flies it is always out of level by the end of the day.

My solution is to shoot any critical point twice, rotating the rod 180 degrees between shots, and then average them. In my case i want to save only the average point, not the two original observations. Can this be added to the collect screen either as a white box or on the collect>point screen?

Thanks! Jim

It's there, tap the dist to last whitebox and enter the first point number in the cluster.

You could also press Stop, rotate the pole, and press Resume. You may want to make sure to get equal numbers of epochs on each side, which may be tough to do if the LS is struggling in canopy. For shots in the clear, though, it creates one point instead of three.

@Adam "enter the first point number in the cluster."
How much trouble would it be, to add a button to this screen, "select all survey pnts within 0.5 feet", so we don't have to figure out this 1st point?
I've fat fingered this, a number of times. In the sweat, heat, bottom lands, 120 degrees in the shade.
I can go and do this manually, by distance filter, but an automated dist filter here would be slick. @Jim White , also, you can view a graphic, during this process, by tapping the left hand large box, and it will show the avg point, in scale, relative to the points it's averaging. Helpful cluster analysis feature. (Before it's made too) so you can decide if it needs another shot, before you move to the next point.

Which pole is causing you problems?

Thanks for the ideas. I am using an 8 foot seco with a bipod. Its sort of old, but I like the clamp it has. changing the bubble this spring helped some, but I sure don't trust it to hold for critical shots.

I had a problem with rod bubbles getting out of adjustment, until I bought some replacement bubbles with metal springs from Hayes Instrument Company.
The bubbles are just a little off size, so I ream out the holes in the level. The bubbles are not cheap, $ 30.00 plus shipping.
