Bad micro SD cards

This was an issue a few months back with either defective Micro SD's being installed in new units or not being properly formatted.
For those that may have received one I am curious as to what the symptoms were in regards the behavior of the L.S. or Victor?

The LS would not boot with those SD cards installed.
