Base File Transfer

The base file is not transferring when I disconnect the rover. This occurred yesterday and today. Initially I thought I tapped the incorrect button. Today I was very careful to ensure I was tapping disconnect and download. No download.

Any thoughts? As far as I know nothing has changed. Typically something like this might occur if I change settings, update etc. I'm using the stable branch now so there are not frequent updates.

Hi Nate,

I'm using the latest version. I can power up and check if you would like to know precisely which version.

Yes, Stop Base and Download.

Was a DPOS session created? If yes - try to download the file by pressing Download button in the DPOS screen.
Also try to download any file to check the possibility to download.

The same thing occurred both times. I tap "Stop Base and Download" the screen flickers one time and nothing. I thought I had tapped "stop base" but was sure I hit the correct button the second time. Michael I believe this also occurred when you assisted me with the DPOS file recently.

I will verify this - DPOS includes a file with a

Yesterday, in the field, I connected to the base, navigated to the base file list and downloaded the base file. The DPOS page includes a line with a "1" icon followed by blank line. This happened last time as well as the instance Michael assisted me with the bad DPOS file. I just checked this after booting up the LS. The application finished unexpectedly. Yesterday when attemptihng to shut down, the LS quit J-Field and went to the Windows CE desktop. I had to force a shutdown.

Michael: I downloaded the base file yesterday manually. Today it's listed in DPOS. When I attempt to download it asks me to connect to the base. This is the problem I had when you intervened last time. The blank line is also present. See attached. The project name is "Danekas".

I presume a force update is in order?

Thanks for the help...

Yes, to download the file you should connect to the Base first. After that don't press Done! Press Home, go to DPOS screen and press download.

I did that yesterday in the field as well as in the office this morning. Same result. System indicates I need to download file.

The file downloads (11 MB) it takes a minute or two.
DPOS indicates I need to download file.

Note: Earlier today it started processing the file and indicated "noisy GNSS data or small time span". I taped DPOS and now it indicates I need to download. See the two screen shots. The most recent image indicates "base data not downloaded"

Could you check the 2.0.0.307 Release version?
If the new Release version doesn't help could you send the project archive?

This may be the same thing that happened to us last week Jim. Our T1M had filled up its memory. We had to hook it up through net view and delete all the files in the base. What's done this is the files since the release of 2.0 have been 30x bigger, one second intervals instead of 30 seconds. Once we cleared out the memory in the base everything went back to normal. Will most likely have to look into getting a bigger sd card or something for the base.
