Base navcom 3040sf Rover Ls+

hi, i am considering the purchase of a rover ls + to replace my current Navcom 3040 sf. I usually connect, in ntrip, as a rover to the cadastre network of my region (tpos network of Trentino, now only gps and glonass, later hopefully also galileo). The question is: could I use the 3040 as a base, in areas where there is no internet coverage (also having the internal radio module, I normally use the settings uhf satel 1 wat 436.00000 25 hz nct5b, but I could use rtcm3) or there could be problems communication between the devices? Receiving corrections from Satel radios in RTCM3 format is supported so it should work. If you would like to try this to see how well it works there is a free demo program for licensed surveyors, you would just need to cover the shipping charges.

The one problem you may run into is telling your existing receiver to start transmitting it’s location. Jfield is intended to tell a Javad base such as a T2, T1(T1m) or T3 to transmit via Bluetooth to the base. If you can not create a Bluetooth connection to the base via Jfield you will need some other way to tell the base receiver where it is transmitting from and to actually transmit its location.

I thought of launching the base (with known coordinates) through the Survce program (Carlson) by setting the radio to: UHF 1 watt, 25 hz, 436.00000 freq. with rtcm3 protocol (instead of nct which I use for the two Navcom receivers, proprietary protocol) Shouldn't the corrections already contain the position of the base? In Survce I can see the distance from the base on the rover.
