Battery issues?

I have a customer that when he first got his receiver his battery would say 20+ hours of life after a full charge. Now it only shows 10+ hours after a full charge.

I had him let the receiver completely drain the battery and give it a full charge and he said there was no change. I have attached a picture of his batter screen.

From all I have read about Li ion batteries (laptops etc.) there is a break in period for the new batteries.
My experience has been the more I have used the unit the better the battery life has become to the point now where the unit indicates 25-26 hours of battery life after a full charge.
My workload dictates charging about once a week.
When the unit is on while charging it does heat up, so I try not to do that.
I try not to discharge mine all the way and take it down to 30%-40% capacity and then charge it.
A complete discharge is good once in a while to calibrate the battery but should not be left in the discharged state.
An internet search provides a wealth of info about charging and discharging Li ion batteries.
