I have a job, set up with PAGE 0 on SPC.
Page 1 is set to a LOCAL system. It has design points on it.
I want to VIEW the local coords in SPC.
So, I set the current page to Page 0.
It still displays the coordinates, from the LOCAL system, not SPC. (That is, the coord values are the local values).
It used to display the design points, in SPC, but not any more.
Thank you

Nate

Nate I noticed that too on a recent job.

The Points screen is always displaying coordinates in the coordinate system set for that page. Everywhere else (CoGo screens, action screens, map) you should see the points displayed with the current coordinate system.

@Andrey Zhiganov can answer if this was an intentional change or not and probably add a setting for this.

What was happening was I needed just one coord, to place on a plat. I have a localize on this job. So, the coords I see in acad are the local coords. I'm putting metadata on the plat. So, I set page 0 current. It still showed the local coord. I could not get it to show the spc. Finally, I exported the design coord, in spc. This let me get the needed spc.
Thank you
Nate

Hi Nate,
It works as expected. There are no settings for that unfortunately. Please change coordinate system for that page with design points and you will see SPC coordinates. It does no harm. Internally all design points keep coordinates in original system. Later you can switch it back.

Ok, that will work, but it would be good if it displayed what the current page is set to....
It is reasonable to assume that it is displaying the units or values, of the current page. Even though that is not presently true.
Thank you,
Nate

We had that behavior initially. But after some requests to change, we did it. I would suggest to add configuration option to restore that old behavior by explicit user choice and keep current settings for most users.
