For the last year or so the calendar shows a single day of survey on multiple days. It's possibly showing the day of survey and days the survey file was accessed on the LS. Is there a way to correct this? I only want to see a calendar entry on days when points were collected.

Calendar currently notes all events (when design points were created or edited as well). We've put you suggestion into the todo list.

Thanks for the update. Does the system see opening the file as an edit? Any file I access, regardless of editing is shown on the calendar. Is that what I should expect?

In theory, only days when some points were surveyed or edited should be shown.

If I open a file and upload to my pc, it shows up on the calendar. Is there a setting I can modify to change this behavior?

If you mean opening a project - yes, currently it will show up and there is no setting to disable this. We have fixing this in our todo list.

Could it be made to where when you select the calendar, it would show the project you worked on, and if you select the project it would give a brief summary of the points that were collected on that day. That may be a little too much to ask, but I have instances where it could be helpful.
