Can't import DWG/DXF

My LS will not import a DWG or DXF. After selecting the file and hitting import, it jumps straight to the "loading...." box and then stays on 0% while the clock runs indefinitely. If I hit Cancel the loading box grays out and the LS is frozen and must be turned off by holding the ON/OFF button down. I can see the import parameters screen behind the loading box but I can't get to it. It appears to be trying to import right away before allowing me to select the parameters for import.

Which JField version do you have? Could you provide the DWG for investigation?
Please try to import the dwg to an empty project.

Thank you Michael! I created a new project (empty) and I was able to import a DXF with no problem. I also updated the software before I did that. I think I should be OK and don't have to import into an existing project.
