The Sierra-Wireless modem cellular module installed in the JAVAD GNSS receivers (with cellular SIM card capability) are able to use:
either ‘Generic’ firmware for AT&T, T-Mobile etc...
or ‘Verizon’ firmware . . .

The use of either type of SIM card will require the appropriate cellular modem firmware to be installed to the cellular modem module.

1) For a JAVAD Triumph-1M+ or Triumph-3, use the JAVAD NetView application:

2) For a JAVAD Triumph-LS+, use JFIELD and the 'Advanced Settings | Apps Settings' menu for "Cellular":

Footnote: All SIM cards require an Access Point Name (APN) that allows a cell service connection to a Service Provider on the cellular network.
You must enter the APN for your SIM card in order to use cellular services.

For an Internet connection to a JAVAD GNSS 'base', the Internet connection requires 'a static' IP-Address' in order to connect to the 'base' via:
- TCPO Port: 8010
or
- NTRIP-Caster Port: 2101
. . .

Thus, when using a cellular SIM-Card, for remote Internet 'base' connectivity:
Ensure that your 'service provider' has provided to you a 'static IP-Addressable' SIM card and the correct, and appropriate APN information, for your use,
along with the 'base' SIM card specific Internet 'static IP-Address' information that you need to use (
so as to be able to remotely connect to, from your GNSS 'rover').

Otherwise, the 'rover', when not knowing 'the correct base static IP-Address', will report a 'SOCKET FAILED' condition
