Cindarella Option Expires and LS Partially Inoperable

Before I get into this, I want to say thank you to Matt Sebole for his help with this option as well as truoble shooting my equipment. Matt, you have been a great help, thanks again.

I have the T2 and LS. Just added the cindarella option for RTPK to try out the option (I intend to purchase the option in the next few weeks).

Added the temp option under Jfield 3. While option was active, system updated to Jfield 4.

When the option expires, the icon describing total satelites avail in the upper row of home page blinks. When I select the icon it provides an error message that the options have partially expired and shows no satelites in view.

When this initially occureed I could not survey. Matt logged in via RAMS and was able to get the LS receiving corrections over the UHF and WLAN through hot spot on mobile.

Last night I took it out and I bet it took at least twice as long to survey. I was continually loosing my connection. This did not occur when the temp optoin file is active. Option expires and it seems to have the effect of taking some but not all permanent options with the temp expiration.

After chatting with Matt Sebole about this it sounds like this could be a question for the staff to answer.

Can anyone give me a hand with this.

Curious to hear response on this. We used the RTPK trial and liked it. Did not purchase it because we lost communication between T2 and LS. Got a MiFi hotspot to work as network rover and have not used our base since then. Unfortunate as some sites we don't have cell to get the network corrections.

Can anyone on the design/programming team reply to this.
The solution is to buy the option. I know, with reasonable certainty, that this is in no way intentional. I could see a new user, that didn’t know the brand, that didn’t know how much JAVAD appreciates their client base, walking away and wondering if the temp option was designed to force an option update else the system just doesn’t work properly.

If one the programmer could give me a hand with this it would be appreciated.

By the way, if anyone does have this opinion, just read a few the forum for a few mins and you will see that JAVAD is one of the most beloved corporations that it’s users will truely go out of the way to defend.

I had a similar issue with a cinderella option for 50hz on the T-3. I had the original OAF stored on my computer and used that to update the T-3 instead of through the web option on Netview.

Thanks...I may have read in the forum that the Triumph processor can't deal with more than 10 Hz on the LS and 20 on the LS+.
