Compute angle right

Hey Everyone,
First post on here. For years I've carried an HP 48 with SMI in the woods with me for one purpose, the calculate angle right function. I lost the 48 somewhere a few weeks ago. I was wondering if anyone knew if the LS would do this function. There's something similar in the angle field of the traverse function when you hit the "+-x/" key and do absolute angles difference but it sometimes gives you the angle left and it's not nearly as clean as the function on the 48 where you just type in your back bearing and foresight bearing and it gives you the angle right.

Thanks,
Randy

I'd like to see a basic traverse entry setup installed. So that manual integration of total station information can be included easily.
It needs:
Ang RT and Ang LT
Deflect RT deflect LT
Slope dist and zenith angle
And move up, and sideshots
This is pretty basic stuff.
Thank you,
Nate

Hi Randi,
There is COGO function in Stakes -> TS (Total Station) Collect. Please let me know if you need more specific functions.

Hey Vladimir,

That is nice. It would also be nice if when you select HA you'd have the option to enter an angle if you knew it or calculate an angle if all you had was bearings from a deed. You could enter the back bearing and foresight bearing and it would calculate the "angle right" for you. It would also be nice to have horizontal distance and vertical distance as well as grid or ground since most deeds are ground distances. The current Traverse function is setup nice because you already have the option to pick a grid or ground distance, if it just had the ability to calculate an angle right.

Thanks for all the help,
Randy

If all you have is bearings from the deed you could use Cogo Direct.
