connecting to a Leica base

Hi all, I am attempting use a Leica GS14 as a UHF base. Using the LS on board scanner, I can see the base transmission at 462.375Mhz. I have set the LS to match the Satel settings that Leica uses. (see the first screen shot) When I go to the "HOME>UHF" page, it disagrees with the settings I have entered, (modulation and transmission speed) (see the second screen shot) and does not see the base. Are there any suggestions as to what I do next?

Doesn't look like the modulation took. You've got GMSK (19200 baud) in the bottom screen capture and 4FSK in the top screen capture (9600 baud).

If possible, I would not use CMR/CMR+ if you can use RTCM 2 or, even better 3. For some reason, we don't use the Glonass from CMR/CMR+.

Shawn, I agree it that didn't take. Is there an extra step needed to make the General Profile settings move across to the UHF? Thanks for the CMR tip, I will change that to RTCM.

I did have success with getting the Leica (GS14) base to work, although it is a bit glitchy... It took powering off the unit and turning it back on to get the UHF to take the new settings. The UHF status screen does not show the correct link rate, but it still works. In my case, CMR, RTCM2 and RTCM3 all perform corrections for both GPS and Glonass. I needed to have the FEC (error correction) turned off. The only weird thing is that every time I start the LS, I need to go edit the general profile and turn the FEC on, allow it fail, and then re-edit it and turn FEC back off, and then it works.
