Another change I have noticed is that I can't work a full day without hooking another battery to my HPT435BT radio battery via jumper cables. One job I did this week took me 7 hours (minus 30 min or so to DPOS) and right after I set my last pin, I couldn't take another shot and my radio battery was down to ±7 volts transmitting. So it wasn't transmitting much! My battery starts out at 13.7 volts just about every day before transmitting.
My radio already gets hotter than a fire cracker by the end of a fair weather/temp day. I couldn't imagine how little I could work if I connect a fan unit. Anyone else experience shorter batter life with the modulation change?
Isn't anything I can do but grin and bare it. Thanks.
