Deleting files in TR3

I am using Netview for the first time to connect to the TR3. I was able to connect and view the files (624 of them). I am wanting to delete those files to clear up memory in the TR3. My question is when I start a job with base/rover on the LS+ I have been working on ( I downloaded and archived on the LS+} does it create a new base file which would be downloaded at the end of the day in the LS+? I guess what am asking is whether it is a good idea to clear 3 years of base files out. Also I am going to download the 624 files to an external hard drive before deletion. Mike

Michael,
If you regularly, at the end of each survey project, download the Triumph-3 'base' files to your LS+ project, then all is saved (such you can then archive the 'old' TLS projects when completed, and then remove from your LS+ to free up memory).
Note: You can always reload 'old' archive projects back to the LS+

For the files remaining on the Triumph-3 'base', it is good practice to download and archive, then remove / delete old 'base-files from the unit to free up the internal memory.

Thank you, John. Yes I download each time I shut down the base and archive the LS+ and at the same time.
