DTT precision

The DTT white box and other distance white boxes on Stake Action now display distances to more decimal places than before.

I guess I'm showing my age here, but my old eyes would prefer the larger font and lower precision that used to be there.

Who needs to measure with RTK to 3 or 4 decimal places of a foot? Maybe it would be useful to change the precision by tapping on the white box. I guess that is already available by pressing the action hardware button.

The problem with how it was before is we only saw three numbers total. When it got over 100, we saw NO decimal places. Now, as John mentioned, it has been taken too far in the other extreme. Couldn’t there be a way, as Shawn mentioned to always have two decimal places and the text “fit” into the white box according to what your number is? 1.55 would be quite large; 122.55 would be smaller and 1255.55 even smaller.

Andrey, I see you made the change to the DTT whitebox:

I think everyone wants this same change made to the other whiteboxes that display distances too: Ahead / Back, Catch Point, Cut / Fill, Distance to Last, East / West, North / South, PDelta and Right / Left.

For the PDelta whiteboxes you might also remove the units from the end of the values so that the font can be larger:

Hi Matt. PDelta and DistanceToLast have an interface with two and three lines and also dynamic units (mile, foot, inch). I'm not sure we should change interface because font size will be more less then now.

I don't think we display distances in inches anymore do we? It should always be feet, never inches. Only architects use units of inches. If you want to leave PDelta and DistanceToLast the same, I would at least recommend using ' (prime symbol) instead of "ft" to allow for larger fonts (VSAPP-3773).

I think in (distant) future we could solve similar problems by making the whole action screen area configurable in the same manner as Android screen with widgets (so that those wanting bigger fonts could use PDelta button taking 2x1 space). For now, I for one don't think that prime (') instead of ft will be very good in all cases - e.g. I don't have very sharp eyes as well, so for me "ft" is better than a small symbol which could be either ft or inch or degree or minute or second. Probably this could be some global setting in J-Field (and this could be rather easy as we mostly have respective code concentrated in one or two places) to use prime "'" instead of "ft" everywhere.
