Engines and Profiles

Is it possible to have different engines with different profiles, now that we are picking up additional constellations. Example, when running my base I may want to have access to GPS/Glonass/Galileo, but when using the NC RTN, I only need GPS/Glonass engines, because their network is not completely Galileo compatible. If the engines could be configured to say a profile called RTN, that would get just GPS/Glonass or GPS/Galileo and another profile such as BASE would have GPS/Glonass/Galileo.

This maybe a wish list item, but I think until all the RTN's are broadcasting Galileo, we may have some loss of signals, due to that.

If I am way off base, no problem. Just trying to think about how best to utilize where we are at now so we can keep refining the engine issue.

Thx

Ok, so that would answer my question then.....

It is very likely that you have a different general group profile for when you are using your RTN and when you are using your base. Changes made to the engines in one general group profile do not modify the settings for the engines in other general group profiles. So yes, you can have particular engine settings for base/rover and RTN by simply making whatever settings you wish to each of the profiles.

This line of questioning seems to indicate that the Javad RTK technology not only puts me a generation ahead of other manufacturers with base/rover but RTN as well.
