file *.rw5

Hello, it is possible to export a RTK rover survey file from triump Ls with the same survce carlson style formatting (see attachment survce.rw5 obtained via triumph-3 connected with usb to survpc) instead of in the * .rw5 format present in exchange data (see attachment exchange.rw5) which is not correctly imported into the various topography programs. Thank you.

It looks like you "lost" your base points. Try "Restore Base point" for rover points that don't have a base point reference (Points / Edit (pencil)) and then re-export to rw5 format. If it will not help, please send your project to Support (Projects screen -> Send Project to Support).

perhaps I have not explained myself well: the problem is with the rw5 file extracted directly from the ls, (in the exchange.rw5 file: the base in this case is @ point4, it is a survey made with another ls base) the problem is more than syntax that of the presence of the registration of the base. I attach other 2 files: survce.rw5 (exported from triumph-3 driven survpc is interpreted well; ls.rw5 exported directly from triumph ls no.

Giulio, if you mean "newline" is missing, I don't see it in my Note app. Perhaps some of your application cut out the characters CR (carriage return) and LF (line feed). Or do you mean something else? Please, describe it in more details.

I solved the syntax problem of the rw5 file of the Ls. Now I should solve that of the different recording format of the degrees of longitude and latitude of the points and the base: with Ls a latitude of 45 ° 59 ' 02".614 in the rw5 file is rightly reported as 45.98405964, while the same latitude in survce is reported as 45.5902614, unfortunately my topography program interprets this last one right. is the possibility to come out with the same format as the survce?

Andrey thank you very much, a curiosity: the mathematical calculations of the position are performed starting from the geocentric coordinates and then transformed into geographic or vice versa. Is there an option to export the position of the points in geocentric coordinates?

Yes, I know that the format is Lat and Long, mine was just a curiosity to understand how sophisticated calculations are made to determine the position starting from the ephemeris of the satellites and from the pseudorange between the phase center of the satellite antennas and that of the rover. I thought that the calculations were done using geocentric coordinates (X Y Z) and then publish the result in geographic (LAT and LONG.) I would use the Geocentric to calculate the exact distance in a straight line between two points (with the Pythagorean theorem)

Hi Giulio,
You are right. All RTK-related calculations are done in Geocentric coordinates. So we use all power of Pythagorean theorem:) Antenna-related calculations are done in Topocentric coordinate system, that is rotated against Geocentric. But it is also Cartesian, so Pythagorean theorem is our friend too:) And finally we convert Geocentric to Geodetic latitudes and longitudes. You can play with Geocentric/Geodetic coordinates by using import/changing CS/export from/to CSV format files. Also there is time-related transformations behind the scene, but that is different and deep topic.
