Finding a point using bearing and distance from a survey

Apologies if this is a simplistic question related to the rest of the content on the forums here.

I'm having trouble finding how to use a survey point, a bearing, and a distance to find a second location. It looks like I can use the CoGo feature on the JMT app for Android, but I just can't figure it out.

Basically, I'm trying to find the location of specific trees, but to get good satellite reception, I'm placing my Triumph 2 some distance away from the trees and performing static surveys. Now, I need to correct for the displacement.

It's under Cogo, Basic Functions, Direct in JMT. Tap P1 to survey it then tap and enter the bearing and distance then tap create.

Thanks for the help Adam.

When I hit P1, nothing shows up. Is there something I need to do to get my points there?

It looks like you will need to survey the "anchor point" or P1 prior to going to cogo. There is a pull down at the top of the page that allows you to select surveyed points or design points.

Ok I found the pull down, but all the options are empty. I've got surveys stored in my catalog, but how do I get them to survey points?

Well, I am not sure. @Yuri Noyanov can answer the question I am sure. I haven't used JMT for a static session in a long time so It's not coming to me how to do it and I don't have anything in the catalog. I can test it out later this evening.
