Frequency Hopping Radios

I continue to be impressed with these little 1 watt frequency hopping spread spectrum radios. I was able to get a shot yesterday at 1/2 a mile from the base, 70+ feet in elevation change, and absolutely no line of sight. A couple of hiccups for a second or two and then right back to 5hz. I really like that I don't need an external radio to charge/maintain/keep up with. Between TCP , 1 watt radios, and hybrid RTK I'm very productive. Javad = Options.

Here's a google earth image of the base line.

Wes I agree, They work well. The causes of me not having a connection where I work are typically due to terrain and I don't know if "more power" would help me. I just strategically place more base points close to where I am working where the radio will broadcast well in relation to my survey.
I have yet to have my radio stepped on by interference,
and less "guvmint" intrusion into my life (FCC) is always good.
