Google Drive not showing sub folders?

You could also try going to
On the left side go down to "Manage apps"

On my currently working setup, "J-Field assistant" is shown at the bottom of the list of apps, and pressing the "OPTIONS" button gives only one option to "Disconnect from Drive"..... which I have no intention of testing.

If your setup is not working or shows something different, there is an button near above the list of apps that says "Connect more apps"
This bring up a "Google Workspace Marketplace"
Searching for "Javad" here did not bring up anything for me
Searching "J-Field assistant" might do something for you

I appreciate all your suggestions and efforts Red Dog, but I think I’m through trying “workarounds”. The point is, we shouldn't HAVE to be trying a million different ways to get this to work. If anyone at Javad would actually look into this and just simply solve the problem, we wouldn’t have been discussing this for 6 months.

I am in total agreement we shouldn't have to.
File transfer is a pretty basic and 100 percent essential tool.
This is not some one off oddball dream wish list item (which used to be at least looked at if not actually implemented), this is a requirement to do the job.
While I understand it may have made sense for other parts of the system to switch to Linux,we lost the ability to use a network drive.... and that was even before Javad died.
To me, using a thumb drive is a lame dinosaur workaround

John,
Thank you for the response. Since you are well aware of the situation and certainly have more intel than us customers, can you clear the air if the Google Drive issues is on the JAVAD side? Or is it on the google side? Either way, is JAVAD willing to help its customers to navigate through this MAJOR feature loss? I personally have spent several hours trying to sort out the issue.

Honestly, its just hard to believe this can't be resolved if a little effort by the right person was put toward it. The loss of Google Drive has cost our company thousands of dollars and it still an efficiency killer.

Hello Josh,
The issue is the Google' security policy' for 3rd-part authorized access to use 'a user's Google-Drive' account.
This is not under to control of JAVAD.

May I suggest that you consider using using the RAMS 'Files tab', to upload files to the Triumph-LS remotely (via Wi-F Internet connection) from the office to the field, right there on your desk computer in the office.
Likewise you can download files (via Wi-Fi Internet connection) to your own PC using RAMS Viewer - see https://support.javad.com/index.php?threads/wireless-file-transfer-google-drive.6124/#post-55500

John,
Thank you for the response. We have used RAMS as a bit of a workaround at times. The real limiting factor is that the office has to control the file transfer in real time. When google drive worked, the crews export the data when they are done and go back to work or on to the next job. When the office needs the data, its there waiting. No interrupting the field crew or hoping they have cell service and that I am available at the moment they are ready to export. We have been exporting to a usb, then using an adapter to connect to our phones and upload to Google Drive.

Funny you mention that Mitchell, I have usually had no issue using the browser version of RAMS.... until last night.
Last night and this morning both, I am able to go the website no problem, but the connection to
rams.javad.com:8800
will show "Connecting" for about 2 seconds and then goes to "Error" status

Same for Chrome and Firefox both

It should be noted, I can use the Desktop version of RAMS and get a connection to my desktop via local ip, or thru the internet via
rams.javad.com:8800.... both routes will work on the desktop version, but for some reason the browser version will not make the connection today

Could the RAMS Files interface be improved? It would be nice to have the ability to at least delete and move files to different folders from the Files tab.

Hi John,
Archiving Projects and Files should be accomplished using the Triumph-LS, JFIELD interface.
Then once archived and saved to your 'computer archive', then delete old and unnecessary projects and files from the Triumph-LS using the JFIELD interface.
Note: You can always reload previously save project archives to the Triumph-LS if required (via USB or SD).

The option to delete files through RAMS already exists. If you want to move Files you can use Files > Browse Files in J-Field and use the Cut or Copy options found in the context menu (button in top right corner).

To add, one can use RAMS 'File Transfer' to move 'files' and 'folder' to and from your computer (via your browser).
