How do you copy and paste coords?

A coord, or a couple of them, from one job to another?
Also, is there a way to make a temporary coord, 3 miles north, then list ALL the coords, in the ls, (all jobs) within 1/4 mile, of that temporary coord, pick through those, select the correct one, and copy and paste it into the current job?
Thanks!

When you copy and paste it creates a design point. Currently we don't copy all of the data from a survey point over to create a survey point in the other project.
To do this, go to the points screen and select the point you want to copy. Select the resource button at the top left of the screen (three green bars). Select "Add to Clipboard". Then open the project that you want to copy this point into. Go to points screen and switch to Design. Press the "+" and select "Select from Clipboard". Select the point from the list. Regardless of whether the point is a survey point or a design point it will import as a design point currently which means that it's probably just about as easy to export to ASCII from the first project and import from ASCII to the second project, as the results will be the same.

Quite a while back we allowed all coordinates in all projects to be listed, but it was very slow to work with when there were a lot of projects in the memory so we stopped supporting that feature.

Ok, is there a way to "lock" a design point, so it would not get deleted? Or, to lock a page, so nothing on that page could be deleted?
I have found it useful to delete all design points, and re-install them, on occasion.
But, if I'd copied and pasted coords, i could see not wishing to re-copy and re-paste.
Also, the long press of the red x, to delete all design pnts, could have another pop up, to delete LOCKED points, or pages too.
I'm thinking out loud here...

Ok, good nuff.
I have another question.
Can I start a job, work a while, change jobs, (base still running) open another job, copy the coord, go back to the first job, paste the coord in, and continue working?
