How often should we clear NV Ram?

I used to clear it, once a month, when i hooked it to netview, to extend the oaf files.
But, i've not cleared it since.
Subsequently, it seems that the ability to clear the nvram is now do-able from the LS, while it's hooked up base-rover.
(button above base coord setting).
Any comments? What does it do, and, will it contribute to sluggish performance?
Thanks.

It only needs to be done if something doesn't seem to be working correctly with the Triumph-2. It resets most of the settings inside it back to the factory defaults.

Well, I seem to be having a glitch with my T-2. When plugging it into power, it used to turn the battery light on. Either red, (needs a charge) or Green (Charged).
Now, when I plug it in, NOTHING. The light on the charger is on. Swapping the transformers did nothing.
Any ideas?

I think it is charging, but I am not sure....

Thanks.

You can link to netview and look under parameters, general, voltage to see if external power voltage shows a reading when plugged in. It will say 0 when not plugged in.

Well, that's what I did last night... Then Netview would not run... Then I finally (not where I expected to find it) found NETVIEW MODEM was the new Netview. So, I downloaded, and installed it. Then, It finally got hooked to netview, and where were we?? I finally found the voltages, and then deleted some 79 base files.
Since I was not sure what voltage was proper, for the T-2, I finally gave up, and unhooked. Then, started the base in my yard... to be sure I was gonna be able to go to work this morning... I groggy today!

But, the GREEN light was on, on the far left. Shawn corrected me... it should be orange, when charging, then turn green. Well, it was green this morning... So, for now, no crisis.

But, I'm on my way to feed some ticks... :) Thanks for your reply.
