If i were going to stake 120 lot subdivision

Which way would you do it?
1.) Draw a single poly-line, for each block, with some lines redundant.
2. Make coordinates, at all lot corners, and stake points.
3.) Make individual poly lines, for each lot. (Results in redundant lines like #1 above)
4.) Some other way. (Please define)

This question is broader than it seems, as principles learned, will result in varying approaches to deeds, and the like.
What would you do, and why?
Also when using wblock, do you put lot numbers into the LS, to help you keep track of things?
Thank you,
Nate

The LS does not like blocks. I agree with Phillip, although it doesn't really matter to me if the lots are closed polylines or individual segments for each line. The process is almost identical except you have the extra step of picking a vertice from the list when there are multiple endpoints at the same point.

I used the ACAD WMF command to export lot numbers and then re-imported them back in (which makes them into polylines) when I was laying out a cemetery and need the block and lot numbers on the LS screen (so I could stamp the markers). There were about 120 lots. However, the redraw time on the LS was really slow...
