I'm trying to Migrate from an LS, to an LS Plus

Things are not going very well.

I have created a BACKUP AND RESTORE, on the old LS, (Non Plus version)

So far, I have updated the OAF on all things I can find.
I have updated the firmware in the T-3, through the LS.
I have updated everything I can find.
Now, I go to FILES, then FULL BACKUP and RESTORE.
Now, I press RESTORE FROM EXISTING BACKUP
Then, I press RESTORE
It now says "Backup was created on another device (serial number mismatch) Only projects, tags, &Codes, Profiles, and Favorites can be restored.
At this point, it is a dead end. I cannot get it to go beyond this.
I hit OK, in blue and it goes back one step.
How do I get it to move ahead? Maybe I should just copy the files into the LS+, and build profiles and settings from Scratch?

Thank you,
Nate

OK, Ive stood on my head, and called Judge Judy. Not getting anyplace. I'm installing jobs one by one. That's working.
I reckon I should re-do all my settings. I've never used cell coms. But, I will wait till tomorrow, to get that. I just want to get moved, and running as best as I can today.
thanks!

I am in the same boat. I am trying to restore my old LS to my new Plus. It seems to work, but I have no projects, tags, etc. The Action button only shows one new project,

I can Browse Files on the Plus into the SD card and see everything in the jdata folder, but I can't see where to set the path so that J-Field can see the data.

I upgraded to the pre-release on the Plus, release on the LS.

You probably have a filter active. Either the magnifying glass or the filter (looks like a funnel) will be red. Press and hold that button to clear whatever filter you have active.

No, in Action-Open Project from List has a green funnel. I cannot see any other data anywhere, unless I browse files in the files button. Everything is there on the SD card under jdata folder, but J-Field is not seeing it.

I created a new project and see that it is created in internal memory.

Is there some way to switch focus to the SD card? I can't find how I did it long ago.

On the SD card, J-Field can store only additional resources like raw GNSS files. And the structure of the SD card is similar to the structure of projects on the internal memory. So I think on your SD card you can see not projects but only their files.
Did you do a full backup or did you archive projects. What are your steps of moving data from one device to another?

Oh, Thanks Michael.

All these years I thought the data was stored on the SD card. Usually I just archive several projects at a time. This time I did a Full Backup and had Internal Memory unchecked. All is well now that I backed up and restored the Internal.
