In NetView "Receiver on port COM 5 was not found"

To post-process in netview with receivers powered up, connected on physical USB to the computer but using SER, click connect and I get the message above. I have done this probably 100 times. I believe I'm following the same process. I don't recall have ever received this message. I have restarted netview, the computer, off/on the receiver, switch cables, switch usb port on computer and the problem follows one of the two receivers.
I think this is the first time I have post processed since I was learning and did RTK with the Victor-LS. Could a parameter within the TR2 have been changed?
Any ideas what's wrong?

No I don't. I'm used to starting netview, clicking connection, then the arrow on the drop down box for port, then the dropdown box contains the port of each of the TR2's I have connected.
I went and looked and did not see any Device Manager in NetView. Is it a separate program or what?

Ok, now I got it. Windows Device Manager. I went there and it showed the same as the drop down box for port in Netview.
I saw something about clearing NVRAM. Is that a good idea? Can I do that without losing my files on the TR2? I believe so, but I'm not sure.
