Is _102647 Random or Time Related?

I started to process yesterday's base file via DPOS, and realized I have no way of seeing the date stamp for any file in question as was the case in JField 1.x. But then I wondered, does the curious suffix tell us something related to the calendar, the clock, or is it just random?

In this specific case, I've sorted with the most recent at top; however, that's not always going to be meaningful if you're trying to find another file from in the midst of many files.

I asked about this last week, myself. It's the time of day that the base was started HHMMSS.

I would recommend using the filter button at the top of the screen to only show the base files relevant to the currently opened project.

I would recommend using the filter button at the top of the screen to only show the base files relevant to the currently opened project.

Depending on how they work, sometimes a user may only know the date of the project to hunt for, to then make current, and then deploy your work around.

A simple solution would be to display both the file name AND the file date of the selected file at the top of the screen; e.g., GNSS1-01_20160520_102647
