I was excited when I found out about this service, but it seems to not be talked about? To me, that means it's working great and no hiccups to post about or it bombed and nothing has improved?
Interesting: (including setting my T3 up to transmit corrections over UDP to a VPS where I have it port forwarded to a TCP service to which I can connect my LS+ ... that yields very good performance).I've taken it for a spin a time or two. It works ok for the most part.
The latency is pretty unacceptable, though. Could just be where I am, though I don't have a problem with other services (including setting my T3 up to transmit corrections over UDP to a VPS where I have it port forwarded to a TCP service to which I can connect my LS+ ... that yields very good performance).
There's also an issue where, if you change/delete the "default" auto-created NTRIP mount point, it is impossible to re-create it. I poked around at it once, it broke, and I've never been able to use it again regardless of the approach I take to do so. No great loss due to the aforementioned performance issue, but it would be nice if I could revive it somehow to continue testing...
Thanks. I put in a request for one of the engineers to log on and take a look at my unit earlier this week and it stayed connected to RAMS for a day and a half uninterrupted. Not even a reply yet to help.We have been using JCors off and on since it was implemented.
Most of our surveys are within range of the 1-watt, but in December 2022 we had two large areas and used the JCors on 15 days. We used both LS units off the one mount point. We run off cell phone hotspots. We were hoping to connect our RTK drone to our T-3 base, but it appears that the supported units have to be Javad registered.
I have been thinking that the engineers have been focusing on the development of the new units and firmware, I have been somewhat surprised that the 7LS participation here has seemed to have fallen off though.

Adam,JCORS is still in the development phase and is there to be used if you are able. Some users may have trouble receiving the email that is sent during registration. Others have no issue at all. JCORS can go down periodically for a number of reasons. So, use at your own risk. The engineers will get back on JCORS when time allows.
