JAVAD GNSS
ALPHA is based on patented JAVAD technology implemented in the TRIUMPH ASIC with up to 200 Hz RTK capability.

Provides 874 channels of multiple frequency GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS, and NavIC constellations when supplied with TR-2S, TR-3S, or TR-3S DUO GNSS receiver.
All in a small, IP66-rated enclosure that meets MIL standards for humidity, shock, and vibration.

The on-board power supply accepts any voltage from +4.5 to +40 volts and delivers clean filtered power where needed. This eliminates the risk of power contamination (ripples) that can be created when clean power is generated externally and delivered to the board via cables. ALPHA also includes a TriPad interface (two LEDs, ON/OFF, and function buttons), and Bluetooth® wireless technology. In addition, the receiver comes with a large amount of flash data storage.

Simply stated, additional functions are not needed to incorporate ALPHA in most applications.
We are surveyors. Roughly translated, that means we used to apply a TRANSIT and a TAPE, and CLINOMETERS, and brushaxes, and plumb bobs, and survey around the USA. (Translated, MUCHO WORK).
Then, we "Moved up" to theodolites, (Better Angles). And, EDMS, or Electronic Distance Meters. (AKA DME'S) that's Distance Measuring Equipment. Solved equasions with 7 place natural tables, (Sin-Cos-Tan etc).
Then, we moved up to total stations, and electronic data collectors. Then, CAD, where we placed the coordinates, and produced deliverables.
Then, we used STATIC L-1 GPS (Man that was tall cotton!!)
Then, RTK GPS, and then ROBUST RTK GPS, (ie, can go get shots in the deep dark woods) and urban canyons.
So, as the old saying goes, tell us in OUR LANGUAGE, what that gear can do to eliminate ticks, and get us home sooner.
We are not DUMB.... we are IGNORANT. (Grin)
Thanks!!
Nate

The Alpha, like the Sigma and Delta, is a standalone GNSS Receiver enclosure unit.
The unit utilizes an external GNSS antenna.
