Loading Contours into J Field in DWG Format issue

I loaded some contours into the LS to stake out in a dwg format, what I did not realize was the size of the file was 4.7mb. Ususally I try to keep my files below 1mb. This file basically locked my project up. I turned off the unit and back on. I decided to isolate the page I put them on and deleted them. That was a real no no. It took 6hrs for them to delete 282 lines. Is there something I should be doing different? I talked with Adam and he suggested that I should have erased the whole project and recreated it from backup and maybe should have broken contours into smaller portions and imported them in multiple smaller files to different pages. Makes sense, but a lot of extra work. I could load this into my data collector with my robot and it my slow it down a bit, but it will function and I can stake them out no problem. Is this a processor speed issue or a program issue that it will not handle the bigger files. If I could load a surface into the LS it my resolve or relieve that issue. Any thoughts on how to get around this or what I should have done or do different? Or why it took so long to erase only 4.7mb of info?

Could you send your project to support from the LS? (Projects screen -> "Send Project to Support").
Also could you send the drawing to us? For example attach in private conversation on the forum or by email to me.

That explains the 62000 number that appeared on the stakeout screen after the upload of contour drawing. Thanks Greg
