Trying to refine my localization skills (read that as newbie with many trial and error attempts). When you localize and are feel the residuals with it look decent you save. Go out the site and locate existing corners and control. Horizontals are good but verticals could be tightened up. When you back to localization to check some more shots you just did and add to localization, does the new localization a set of new set of design points (such 1 has a clone 1[2], 2 a 2[2] etc.) or does it just adjust the original points with the original numbers (1, 2, 3, etc.). the reason I ask is that trying to a localization do over, I ended up with a group of original (1, 2, 3, etc.) a group 1[2], 2[2], 3[3], etc.) and group 1[13], 2[2], 3[3], etc. I painstakingly deleted the [ number ] groups manually one by one and went site today. The horizontals were within my tolerances but he verticals need some fine tuning. I just don't want to create another group of points I have to delete.
Shout out to Adam. Been busy since brother Rick and I spent the time with you a week or so back. Thank you again for being so patient and teaching us so much about this great equipment. Rick is on vacation so using the time to push forward my field skills. Mike
