Yesterday, after installing the release version of the latest GNSS update, my LS completely lost its leveling calibration. When I went to shoot my first point, it wouldn't start and I finally noticed my leveling was orange and showed 55 degrees out while plumbed up on a bi-pod! I tried to re calibrate and it wouldn't allow me to do so, neither the level nor compass. I was told to try installing the testing version. I did so and it reset everything correctly and worked fine the rest of the day.
This morning I thought that problem wouldn't come back but I had the same thing on my first point. This time is was showing 33 degrees out of level and wouldn't shoot.
I figured, what the heck, so I forced an install of the testing version again, and again it temporarily fixed the level problem - until I turned the unit off and then back on again.
Every time now, when the unit is turned on this is happening. It appears forcing an install of anything resets things and fixes it - temporarily.
Is there a way to uninstall the GNSS update that appears to have caused this and go back a version? If there isn't, there should be. The version I installed was 3.6.9.161226.
